At Kindred Teas, we believe that a cup of tea is more than just a beverage; it’s a journey through time and culture. Our travels have taken us from the bustling streets of London, to the serene landscapes of Sri Lanka’s Hill Country Wherever we go, we always make time to sit down for a cup of tea - whether it’s a traditional brew or a floral infusion like our floral blooming teas - and recollect the best moments from our journey. Kindred Teas is inspired by these precious moments.
Kindred Teas was born out of our desire to capture these memories and share them with you. Every blend we create is infused with the essence of our journeys, offering you a taste of the world in each cup. If you're looking to buy floral tea in Singapore, then you’ve come to the right place. Our selection of floral tea blooms, with rich, aromatic flavours, will never cease to delight the senses.
We invite you to explore our blooming tea collection and discover how every delightful sip of artisan tea brewed to perfection can connect you to something greater—a shared experience, a cherished memory, a kindred spirit.
Along the way, we’ve immersed ourselves in diverse traditions and embraced the unique flavours each culture has to offer. What makes these experiences truly unforgettable is not just the places we’ve visited but the connections we’ve forged with people from all walks of life. Whether sharing stories with locals or bonding with fellow travellers, tea has always been the common thread that brings us together.
There are 6 types of true tea. These are made from the evergreen plant, Camellia Sinensis. There are two main varieties of Camellia sinensis - Camellia sinensis var. sinensis, and Camellia sinensis var. assamica. Both varieties produce teas with different flavours and attributes. The true teas are white tea, green tea, oolong tea, black tea, pu erh and yellow tea. Herbal teas are not true teas. They are referred to as tisanes. Tisanes are made from the infusion of herbs, spices or other plant material in hot water.
We source our teas from all over the world. We work closely with our suppliers to ensure that all our teas adhere to the highest levels of quality and taste before they are selected as part of our collection.
This depends on each tea blend. However, the average shelf life of teas is a good 2 years or before the best before date indicated. To keep your teas fresh, we recommend storing them in an airtight container, in a cool and dry environment, away from any odours or direct sunlight.
